Multiplayer only, or almost

We have good and bad news. That is very good that Real Racing 3 features an innovative multiplayer mode, called TSM (Time-Shifted-Multiplayer) . Simply put, the system measures the performance of players and creates artificial intelligence based on the latter, allowing you to play against opponents from all over the world without that these are effectively connected and involved at that very moment. The bad news is that the cars opponents, despite they are based on the behavior of real people, tend to be too kind and very little human, on the track .
No accidents, no off-track: a player unskilled in keeping the car on the track will be represented as an opponent not very competitive, but we will never see strange cars opponents do things like cutting a corner or go on an opponent. Especially in the races complete, with 21 cars on the track, it becomes very annoying and winning is not easy. Because it starts always from the last position.
Actually we lied, the bad news are two: the second is that TSM is the only mode in the game . You can not play single player against "normal artificial intelligence" or practice alone on the slopes, or play "really" in multiplayer, with opponents in the flesh at that time connected to the same game.
And if we wanted to compete against at least an "alias" for a friend of ours, instead of random people? You can: the game recognizes your friends via Facebook or Game Center and inserts them automatically in your competitions, provided that they have already played that game. In the event that you were to win on them, you will get more bonus than a game with complete strangers.

As we said earlier, Real Racing 3 is a game free to play : is free to download and play as you want , knowing that sooner or later we will find something that we can do for free. We had also said that this thing we did a little 'fear, because often to have a fulfilling experience as a game "full", the price is much higher than normal.
We were wrong. Big, too. Playing a game and getting a good position, you get virtual money called R $ (azzarderemmo racing dollars ) in moderate quantities, which can be used to buy new cars (perhaps to compete in other competitions). Another currency used in the game are the gold coins : they do not get at each race, but sometimes you win, unlocking events and driving up its level (by accumulating experience points in the races). Coins and R $, of course, are also purchased by real currency through a dedicated store, if you want everything at once. But even without these tricks, the game lets you play.
In a very crafty, the developers put in check the players in particular ways, to get them to pay. Competing with a car, this is going to ruin gradually the internal components such as tires, motor oil, and so on. Compete too, and the status of each component will reach a critical level and will cause a decrease in performance. You can fix the damage? Of course, with a small expense of R $ and ... time. Already, if you change the tires, it will take ten minutes, five for the oil and so on. And the times are cumulative, so if you want to change oil and tires will have to wait 15 minutes. Or pay a certain amount of gold coins, which will automatically bring the wait to zero.

It is a rather clever, but not particularly castrating as we feared. Before having to perform any of these repairs will take several races and got to a certain amount of R $, you might think more and buy other cars to make other races during repairs.
What else happens after a race? Well, if you enjoyed taking in sportellate opponents, you will probably have dented the car. We must be honest about these things cost of repairs we expected much worse. Any repair costs very little and waiting to change tires, engine or other is always fairly contained. Something tells us that, after the announcement of EA nature free to play title, the software company has not turned a deaf ear to the protests in front of the fans, correcting down the various limitations.
The problem, in our view, lies in the cost of cars : although the majority can be bought by R $, going on with the game you will encounter super-sports cars that you can only pay with coins. Some cars also cost 600-800 gold coins, that is impossible to collect playing for free. And the thing would be resolved easily if to buy these coins spending real money was not high. But no, because 1000 coins cost the beauty of € 89.99 . Definitely not good. We will give willingly a bouquet of flowers to those who will spend their money in this way.
